This is a great kit from a value perspective. You get the carbide inserts plus extra bolts and a small wrench with a plastic hand (so that you won't damage the carbide in case you knock the wrench on an edge.The case is easy to open and the carbide cutters are easy to extract from their compartments. Each carbide cutter is very well manufactured. Sharp edges, smooth slides, no flaws obvious to the naked eye.Can't rate carbide longevity until I have pushed a few, but this kit looks like a great deal.

Extra inserts for the lathe turning handles is a must. We’ve only had to use a couple where the kid broke one of the originals being too aggressive but with these on hand it was a brief learning moment and back to work.
