I bought the for my grandsons treasure box. My daughter says the look so real she was afraid to let him have them. They are beautiful.

They're all quite small though, so do be prepared for that, but they're all quite nice, even if they're small.

I only found 5 faceted stones that were questionable. Great quality on the rest!

We bought these to practice stone setting with a real variety of stones and shapes. For that they are okay. Initially we were pretty pleased with the stones. We tested them with a variety of tools and they are what they say they are. Color was decent. After receiving some other stone lots including this stores Etsy "AA Grade" lot we were a bit less pleased. Overall for this "A+ Grade" lot I'd say 1/3 were unusable or mediocre. Either chipped, internally cracked, broken stones or just badly cut. Good for practice or decoration but not good enough to sell. Of the remaining 1/3 were okay and suitable for smaller settings like rings while the last 1/3 were nice quality good enough as center pieces for large rings or pendants. Their more expensive Etsy lots had more usable stones but also a higher price point that washed out the cost per stone to be similar. Competitor lots had even more usable stones but were a bit lighter in color for what we got there with a similar price point. That said 2/3 of the lot being usable in our opinion still leaves with stones that cost you less than a buck each for material costs if you are setting and selling your work. That's a solid price point for our markets. Their AA lot cost more and had a few more more usable pieces. Average stone price average is about the same if you go that route. Of the lots we got the bad stones had the highest feeling of this was a stone cutters first time having a go at it. The other lots certainly had stones like that but less overall. We just combined the like stones with the other lots. These added some deeper colored stones to our mix. Not a bad purchase and an inexpensive way to start locating suppliers and learning what to look for. We will end up using a different supplier moving forward but these are a way to get going. If you aren't setting stones or selling and just want some shiny gems the majority of these will fit that bill. Just keep in mind these are jewelry gemstones so will range from ~3mm to maybe 10mm. They are smaller than you think.*Edit* We tested the stones with a variety of methods, RI, SG, thermal value, polariscope and they all test as real. No glass that we found. I will say based on a few of the comments the stones are the 10 common stones listed in the description. There were no surprises there. Basically the common semiprecious varieties that all the various gem lot sellers offer.

This is a great value deal! Most people have only seen gemstones in jewelry but getting a good size assortment of shapes and colors will delight them and give them ideas of how they would want the stones set into jewelry. If you had to buy jewelry quality gemstones individually you would pay much more than this package. Try it, you will like it. By the way, I ordered this the Sunday before Christmas (on Saturday) and got the gemstones on Wednesday. Incredible shipping from Amazon!

I’ve ordered 50 carat twice in the past. This last time I ordered 100 carat. The first two times I ordered them I had some that weren’t cut the best. Maybe a chip or two in them. Decent variety of bigger and smaller stones. This lot of 100 carat were very disappointing. For the price I’m not overly upset about it. I’ll dig through them and get some decent items from them. A couple larger ones that are very good looking.I would say - for the money it’s fairly good. Packaging is very good. It is disappointing that so many were very noticeably no good at all. I would expect clarity to not be great and the cut not being perfect but chips, cracks. One gem completely broken in half. It’s going to make people feel taken advantage of

I love these gemstones (laymen speaking). It’s so cool to dump 100 ct’s into your hand and look at all the shimmering glimmering glittering sparkling (need more adjectives…hahaha) jewels.Yes, these tend to be flawed (not all) but what the hell you do you expect? Pretty cool to get this many faceted stone for the price. Someone faceted these by hand I imagine, and how long did that take to do one? In reality, one gem should cost $25. I wouldn’t buy it of course, but I sure enjoyed my buying my bag of gems for around the same price. A good balance of small and large stones with a few real beauties included.

Reading the reviews I didn't know what to expect but for my uses it was for a few crafts. I'd say 90% of the gems had some sort of small imperfection I'm assuming that they were pulled from the manufacturing process for this reasonthen sold as after market however was able to fix most of them with a buffer dremel. I did receive lots of very tiny ones I think I'd much prefer a few bigger to medium ones In place of the small ones just easier to work with however lovely they are. If your someone who is looking for perfect gemstones I would not recommend however if you want them for crafting or other things then it's a good buy. I also don't recall receiving any red garents or blue topaz. Overall I'm happy I'll order again
