I bought these kneepads for use while riding an electric unicycle (EUC). After several attempts with other knee pads from well known dirt bike and street bike brands, these ended up being the best fit. This is my first EUC so falling was inevitable (at least for me). I've taken a few tumbles and although I did fall directly on my knees, these pads took the impact perfectly. Quite honestly, it felt like falling on two very plush pillows. I have no complaints thus far. I've worn them at least 40 times since they arrived, for no less than 45 minutes each time, and they continue to hold up, despite my few spills. I ended up picking up a second pair, in black, just to have a backup.
