I don't know about you but for me it sucks when I go to give my weekly injection in my thigh and a needle is dull. These things are great and literally slide through the skin and into the muscle like those expensie easy glide lubricated needles. Great buy.

Just what I needed. They work well, are good quality, come safely sealed, and are sharp enough to pierce skin easily and they were a great deal.Note: 1.5” is a long needle and very easy to bend. This happens with all brands. Make sure this is the needle length you need.

I saw one other person reviewing these similar to how I use them, so I guess i'm not that unique. But here's where I've found these to be useful for purposes you'd think were not the original intent.Painting miniaturesOil SampleAbscess dranageGlueCooking injectionWhen painting miniatures like Warhammer and similar, sometimes you have to get paint down in a crevice that your smallest of brushes can't reach because of the brush handle. If you found yourself wishing for a longe single strand that didn't flop around, the syringe is the answer. You don't even need to load it with paint, just lightly coat the tip.If you send your car oil out to get lab tested for wear check properties, they give you that sample bottle. You could use those disposable pippets, and they work fine. But if you're out of stock and in a bind, these can be just as good. While these wouldn't be ideal as they are more expensive, it's still better than not being able to fill your bottle cleanly. I've tried pouring from my drain pan after dipping the bottle in and neither worked. So some sort of disposable suction pippet is best.If you, someone else, pet or livestock need to drain a surface abscess, well these are better than just using a razor followed by squeezing. You'll get less resistance and cleaner results. Downside is that is takes longer and not efficient for large abscesses.Similar to paint, if you've had the need to get CA glue in to tight spaces and more importantly, controll the flow, then this is a way. overall it is a bit wasteful on using glue as you will have leftover in the syringe, but the trade-off is getting that tight space glued. When doing a long term cook/BBQ of big meats, injection is a good way to keep moisture in your meat. There are many bone broth mixtures out there and even on Amazon to buy. If you've run the larger injectors, you already know a couple problems. One is you inject too much and the hole is too big so it squirts back out after you inject it. The smaller injection holes seem to not spurt out the bone broth injections. Another problem is clean up. The larger reusable syringes are not the easiest to clean (thouroughly) and can sometimes get gunked up and the plugers wear out on them. With a big box of disposables, these problems are gone. Discard after each cook.
