These are okay for hanging jewelry or stringing lights. They are too small for teacups or towels or anything else.

I was just using these to hang some decorative chains across the front of a shelving unit, and they’re perfect for that.I have my doubts about how much weight they could hold if you tried to hang anything bigger from them, but they seem more than sturdy enough for my project.
