We used these for a western barbeque for a number of our appetizers. We made fruit skewers out of them and put stuck them in a whole watermelon shell for a beautiful centerpiece. We also made them with meat, cheese, olives and tomatoes. They were the perfect size for appetizers. Not too big that there would be waste, but big enough to put a few items on them and they looked great! They really livened up the table and I would used them again because they were sturdy enough to handle every item - cheese, meat, fruit, veggies - we put on them and allowed people to walk around easily with a little snack.

I purchased these for an event I co-direct, the Montana Writers Rodeo, a writers conference in Helena, MT.Of course, in Montana we love all things cowboy. These are sturdy and attractive. They add a nice touch to a food spread.
