Blades are good and very good value. Handle is not grooved properly for blades to fit. But I already have several high quality handles.

This scalpel and blades is exactly what I needed. The handle is good quality, the blades are very sharp as expected, the blades lock onto the handle securely, the blades are all packaged individually. It's a great deal for a quality product.

Surprisingly good quality for the price. The blades all seemed sharp, and they fit the handle well. I used these over a semester of a medical gross anatomy course.

Sturdy metal handle, very nice for one that is included free of charge. The blades could stand to be sharper, but they fasten securely and get the job done. Attaching them takes a little work - best to try it first by unpeeling the non-business end and working with the blade end covered.

I am very pleased with the #23 scalpel blades. I use these blades for intricate work with scale plastic modeling. The blades are sharp and hold the edge. Because the 23's edge has a curve , I can easily bring a blade back to life with some 1000 and 1500 wet/dry paper on a flat surface using Simple Green as a dispersant. I also ordered the #4 scalpel handle and the fit with the blades is excellent. The price was great and the service just as good.

wheres my free handle? blades work ok, fit on my other handle but not as well as they would on a new handle
