My niece and I had so much fun with this! There are so many pretty fabrics and trims! Easy to follow instructions and simple patterns. The kit comes with glue and double sided tape but we used my hot glue gun so she wouldn’t have to wait for fabric glue to dry. I also used it to teach her some basic hand sewing. The grooves in the mannequins are SO smart! I helped my niece, who is a little younger than the suggested age range (she’s 5) but I’d say even older kids would love this too! Ages 10+ would likely be able to work independently and could make a ton of outfits!This would be a really great gift for a budding fashion designer!

This is more like a good kit for an adult with a hobby for sewing than a kit for kids. The kit has a lot of stuff in it, which is great, but the actual DIY work is a lot more involved than I was expecting. Maybe if you have a young aspiring designer, this would make a good gift.

The 650+ Pcs Fashion Designer Kit for Girls was a huge hit with my daughters, ages six and four. My older daughter, who dreams of becoming a fashion designer, had a blast creating new doll clothes with this set. It’s packed with everything they need to explore their creativity and design skills. The only downside was the cleanup, as the many small pieces made it a bit challenging to tidy up. Despite that, it’s a fantastic gift for any young aspiring designer and provides endless fun and creativity!

Consisted of lots of fabric, mannequins, sequins, bows, tape, and glue. I’m not sure what age level this is meant for, but I’m a 40 something year old that isn’t that creative.

This was really fun, had everything we needed, and brought out creative juices in my 10yo that neither of us knew were there. Super fun and the clothes we made are higher quality than I had anticipated them being.

We got this activity for our 8-year-old daughter and our 10-year-old niece. When we bought it, we expected that it was more of a sewing kit to make clothes, and that is how the mannequins functioned. Once we started reading the directions to make the clothing, it did not tell us how to sew them, but rather how to shape them on the mannequins as you use a tool to push the excess fabric into the back of the mannequin.Once we figured this out, we attempted to use the double-sided tape to make the dresses removable, but the tape did not hold well, so now the outfits have just been permanently on the manicures as the girls did not want to take apart their dresses.The kit comes with a great variety of fabrics and little items to add to dresses. This variety has allowed our daughter to use the kit to make more outfits and use the accessories that come with it to decorate a chair and other things. While it didn't work out the way we initially thought, it has been a great purchase, and our daughter has been able to make a variety of items with it.

Lot of fun and useful to teach sewing and clothing design to a new crafter. Great that it's a useful project also as we seem to keep losing the clothing her dolls came with. She loved that she could just make them new *better* clothes.

I picked this up for something fun to do for me and my 7 year old granddaughter and it was a huge hit! She has now decided that she wants to be a fashion designer when she grows up. The fabric swatches included are gorgeous and there are endless possibilities. Also included are bows, jewels, and ribbons to add the perfect touch to your creation. She had so much fun with this and I loved seeing her creativity really shine through. This activity even had her sketching out her designs on paper as she was playing. The mannequins that are included can be used to display the designs afterwards. I think that for younger kids, this would definitely be something you would want to do together but I highly recommend it as a fun activity for adults as well. I sent it all home with my granddaughter knowing that my 30 year old daughter would love it too!
