The board worked great but the wires are way too short. Save your wires and reuse them.

What we needed to get our hot water heater working again. It shipped fast. It installed easily. Within about 2-4 hours we had hot water. A younger well person could have done it faster.

My old controller was literally fried. It shorted out. Be sure to check your element before you power up the new controller to make sure you don't also need a new element. Mine was corroded and cause a short that melted shorted out the controller. A new controller and element are much cheaper to replace than buying a new water heater.

Excellent product, we had power surges and power went out. After that, our old circuit board didn't appear to work. I bought this as a replacement for our Whirlpool smart energy control board. It was extremely easy to set up, all the wires unplugged and plugged into the new board. Turned the power back on and it completely restored our water heater. Had water hot in the house within 45 minutes.
