I've only used this to stain my deck an the stain was very thin and watery. The paint gun held up great and the spray was fairly even. I had the flow turned down rather low and it still seemed like I was refilling it all the time. If you arrange the suction tube so that it points towards the bottom of the container in the downward direction when you're using the sprayer, you can get more out of the bottom of the container. So when you're painting, if you are pointing the sprayer at the floor (like for a deck) then twist the suction tube forward so that it draws stain/paint from the front of the container.I would absolutely recommend this for small projects that would require one, maybe two, containers of paint to complete. If I were painting my entire house, I would opt for a unit with direct feed into a 5 gallon paint bucket. In fact, for large surface areas, you won't get much time saving by using this sprayer. The reload time will hurt your efficiency. However, this sprayer shines when you compare it to using a brush to do the edging. If you use a spray shield, you could save tons of time over the brush and the sprayer will not leave brush strokes. And, it's a fantastic bargain considering how expensive brushes are these days.So for small jobs and edging, this sprayer gets 5 stars.

This electric sprayer is a nice little gadget to help provide a smooth, even finish for a variety of projects. It will make quick work without having to worry about paint brushes and getting an even coat on the target. There is a range of tips to use depending on what your project is. I personally am using it for painting walls and moldings indoors, but I am thinking about using it outside for fascia and soffit work based on my results. The unit provides a good solid stream of paint and after you get used to it, the results are quite good. Having done backbreaking painting with rollers and paintbrushes and hours to paint walls, this little unit was able to knock out work quickly and effectively. While it did require multiple stops to add paint, it was well worth that minor inconvenience. Clean up was quick and easy. While this is by no means a top end sprayer, it does a heck of a job and for the price is well worth it. I really do hope the unit will last me a long time with proper care, but I have no indication it will fail. This one gets a thumbs up from me.

I give the customer service for this item 5+ stars, but the actual sprayer I give a 2 star rating. The paint sprayer package includes protective glasses, gloves, paper filters, a filter cup, and several different sprayer nozzle sizes to change the coverage of the paint. The only thing I had to get separately was the paint and a coverall suit, so that was incredibly convenient.I'm averaging the 2 things to be a 4 star review overall. When I got the sprayer I unboxed it and found that the paint filter cup was cracked (pictured). I messaged the seller and sent them the photo, and they immediately sent a new sprayer to me. I received the 2nd sprayer and unboxed it to find the paint filter cup was cracked in this package, too. I messaged the seller again and explained that the way the filter cup is packed in the box is causing the crack, and that they need to package the item in a more sturdy way. They were appreciative of the feedback and offered to send me a package of paper filters, which was kind. The sprayer itself was a bit hard to work with. When I would pull the trigger to spray, the paint would come out in weirdly timed spurts. It would spray for 1 second, stop for 1 second, spray for 1 second, and so on. I gave my items 2 coats, so it ended up having an even paint job, but it wasn't great.

Edited to add: I had a chance to paint just a bit (some scrap wood) to test. Unfortunately, the rain came back and I didn't even get a photo of that, but having put some paint through it, I'm impressed. It paints pretty smoothly. There's a bit of spatter, but that's normal and it was nothing outrageous. The gun was very controllable and has a smooth flow to it. It's also nicely balanced and doesn't fight you. Honestly, I was more impressed than I expected to be.Additional Note: I was also very impressed that the company contacted me and wanted to make things right, either replace or refund and I appreciate it when a company is willing to stand behind their product.OLd Reviewe: Let me preface this by saying that it's due to rain for the next, so I won't be doing any outdoor painting for a bit and I don't want to test this unit inside for its maiden voyage. That said, I did put water through it to test it as best I could. It did spray, and did spray in the right patterns, so it should work, but it felt a bit spattery, so I have my doubts it will be very neat (could be wrong though--paint pressure does change things). It's a lightweight unit and I suspect thinning the paint to the right consistency will be key. To be fair, it doesn't feel fragile, and the blower had some force to it. It does include three nozzles for different spray patterns. I can test that they're not blocked, but don't know how accurate the patterns are. It's fairly easy to adjust the pressure and change the nozzles, though there's no wrench included, It does include a couple of lightweight painting masks, eye protector, and gloves as well as a strainer (the only damaged part-it was cracked, but still usable) and a cloth storage bag. Would I recommend it? Depends on what one wants to do. I'm planning on using it to paint the side of my house and a small shed. Both are outside in an area won't overspray (within reason) doesn't matter much. I just want to get some wood surfaces protected. I think it will likely handle that okay and speed things up a lot (I will update when I can actually to say how things went). I'm also due to do some painting inside in my office (the floor) in the next couple of weeks and I doubt I'll use it for that, but could be wrong and I'll update to let folks if that's the case. ONe last note, it includes nunber of small parts, tiny spare O rings, and a cleaning rod. It arrives with them stored in the paint container. I strongly recommend having a zipper bag on hand to contain them since several are important and it doesn't have anything small to hold them.
