This was the first gift that our grandson grabbed to entertain himself with after opening all that Santa spoiled him with. Nice quality, feels like a grown up gift, but certainly user friendly enough for our 11 year old science guy. Score....I picked his favorite gift!

Fun gadget for the kids but bought for 11 yo and then bought a $20 digital magnifying glass for 4yo and they do essentially the same. Magnifying is ok but not great. Instructions are rubbish. Would suggest shopping around a bit more
