These are useful. I used them to secure a wind screen to a tennis court. Recent sustained winds of 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph tore off the wind screen that was secured by plastic heavy duty thick zip ties and even some metal hog rings. These are much longer than the hog rings, which makes them easier to place where you need them. I attached the wind screen through the grommets to a chain link fence. Because they are longer than the hog rings, I could put the attachment point farther from the grommet and then I pulled them tight with a small pair of pliers. They pliers let you get a good grip and them and make short work. I wore gloves as suggested but I really did not need them because they have solved the sharp edge problem. The points and edges were filed down so they are nice and safe. No cuts. These seem like they will definitely last longer than plastic zip ties. In a couple places I was even able to use two of them to make a double length zip tie to reinforce a spot where a tree had fallen on the fence and bent it. I know the plastic ones will break eventually. But these stainless steel zip ties should last much longer, especially considering that they shouldn't rust. For a price not much more than plastic, I think they are a great deal. I am sure I will have other uses too.

Super easy to use, durable and tight. It was bought to keep the privacy curtain up on our metal fence. We receive a lot of wind and the plastic ones broke along with cold temperatures. We needed something more durable and sturdy for the everyday wind.

Easy material to work with on any project. No special equipment required. I made mistake thinking you had to have special tools. None needed. Works like any other cable tie. Wish someone had told me about these years ago on my hardware cloth on chicken pens

These metal zip ties made shoet work of securing my new, chain link fence. I had been using the metal things that you xurk around and secure and it was taking forever. These zip ties are way quicker. They're secure. And in my opinion much sturdier than the metal twisted things I was using that break in the cold. I recommend these. And you don't need special tools.

My plastic zip ties kept breaking with a strong wind. I had them holding the privacy fence cover/tarps and some of my fence to wooden poles. These hold up and don't break in even a strong winter wind!! LOVE THEM! Inexpensive, haven't rusted or broke and easy to use!!

I just keep finding uses for these. Holds chain link way better than aluminum ties. You can use them anywhere you would plastic zip ties for only these don’t deteriorate in the sun, in fact they will outlast whatever you put them on. The installation tool is a must. It tightens the ties unbelievably tight and then cuts the tie off neat and close.
