Not sure about the '# 8' size of these screws. The coating scratches off easily and they're not very durable. Aside from that they work ok.

It is what it says it is. Used about 50 of these to secure some floating plywood shelves and didn’t strip a single one with my hammer drive.

These are nice screws and will do the fastening you need done. They were well made with no defects in the batch. I tested a couple in some hardwood and they did not cam out. Only when I had it screwed in as tight as it would go, did I rub some of the finish off in the Phillips indent but the metal held.

I have been using 3/4 inch wood screws from home improvement stores to secure panels or mount small brackets to solid wood, plywood and particle board. They work great as long as there is at least 3/4 inch of material to get into. These screws are very similar to the ones I have been using except for the color (black vs silver) and I have noticed that they are not as clean. They have black residue on them, so if you may need to use caution when using them in unfinished wood. I tried driving one into a predrilled hole in soft solid wood and they drive perfectly fine.Good product.

These flat head, black wood screws from Bopowo are nice quality. I needed a few screws for securing a wall mount bracket to a wood board and these screw work just fine, with plenty of extras for my future use collection. The pack of 100 screws comes in a small plastic case to help keep the extras organized. These screws have a consistent black electroplated coating, a flat head designed for countersunk installation, and fit my Philips #2 screwdriver just fine. The overall length, from the tip of the point to the top of the head, is 0.5 inches so they won't extend very far but work well with my mounting board.

I'm always looking for 1/2-inch screws that will hold something to a 1/2 - 3/4-inch stock without poking through. Think: mounting a paper towel holder to the underside of your cupboard. These screws are exactly .5" with the bevel head losing a millimeter or two holding whatever bracket you're mounting; they work perfectly for that type of application. The finish is tough and does not mar through with general application with a hand-held screwdriver.
