I don't know what is on these soft plastic, but it deterred the fish from biting them. Had a few bite, but as soon as they pulled it under, they would let it go. Never got a bite on them since! As soon as I changed the bait to my go to crappie baits ( notorious custom) the crappie are back biting again. I don't recommend these. It might be just where I fish , but I give up on them until next spring.

I fill the freezer with fish using these. Every bit as good as name brand at a fraction of the cost.

This 100 piece soft plastic minnow kit for freshwater fishing is good quality and has five different color selections to choose from. The top part of the baits is a solid color and the bottom half is clear with glitter in it. These 2" soft plastics mimic small bait fish and are excellent for catching crappie and sunfish, although other fish can be caught on them also such trout and bass depending on how you have them rigged. They can be used as a trailer on a small spinner type lure or a 1/16oz jig head. I have some small chatterbaits I would like to try using them on. The plastic storage box the baits come in would be ok if the lid was not warped, so I will be storing them in a different tackle box or small plastic bags. This is a great value that I recommend to all crappie and sunfish anglers.

Kit comes with a case that keeps lures separated and is compact for transporting . For the number of pieces included and the color variety, this is a good value.
