These have worked out great! I covered my recipe cards to protect them from spills and food splatter. You can't read the recipe if it has stuff all over the recipe that why you need these protectors. The size of the plastic sleeves was perfect for all of my cards. I would buy these again when I need more.

These plastic sleevees protect my 4 x 6 inch index cards that I use when I give tours at our local botanical garden. I punch a hole in the top left and use a binder ring to hold my cards together.

They cover the entire card but won't fix in box with the sleve. They are not true to size, they have to be trimmed down to fit inside recipe box.

These are lightweight sheet protectors for 4x6 items including recipe cards, photos, or postcards. They're a useful size and make it easy to protect your items. I like that I can put recipe cards in these sleeves and keep the recipe from getting messy while I'm baking. They're sheer, so it's easy to see the recipe, and when you flip it over, you can see whatever you've written on the back! If you do happen to spill on these, they're water proof, and it's easy to clean up with a damp cloth.

I recently inherited my Mothers recipe box. She had a lot of recipe cards in varying shapes. I was looking for something which would keep them protected for future use. These plastics sleeves fit perfectly over her 4x6 cards and can be easily read with the sleeve on. They now can be used without any further damage to them.
