Have used the other usual transom savers but was in a dilemma with my 75hp Merc four stroke motor and trailer w/o a rear roller. This unit is smaller and seems even stronger. Perfect.

Just received it today and installed it on my 2024 Mercury 200 Pro-XS Four Stroke. Looks to be well-built and sturdy. Fits nicely and sure will be nicer to store this nice compact device withinin a compartment in the boat while on the water rather than storing a traditional trailer transom saver in the back of the truck. Time will tell how it actually performs when I trailer it down the road. I'll update this review if I run into any issues in real-life use, but looks good and secure upon initial install.

Great idea but the spring loaded ends catch all of the time. The handles rust easily in a salt air climate.
