Although designed to be powered by two 7.2V NiMH stick packs W/Standard connectors or a 12-volt gel cell utilizing the included adapter, most racers change the included connectors to T-Plug or xt60's and use a 3S or 4S LiPo battery for power. The starter box arrives 80% pre-assembled, requiring only final configuration to your choice of vehicle. Includes dual 775-size motors and all the pegs and hardware required for use. (Batteries not included).

These have always been some of the best starter boxes for 1:8 nitro cars and they remain the same. Plenty of starting power when using a 4s lipo. Not too heavy and built well.

Got one second hand from a friend after my starter box conked out. Works great on a 3s lipo pack. Dual motor and very easy to adjust if needed. Turns over my .21 (OS) ninja powered Mugen very quickly.
