When used as an auxiliary fan or pusher, this unit can provide additional cooling for air conditioning, or in an engine prone to overheating.

Used it as a replacement for the inter cooler fan on a Smart 450 diesel. Easy install, works well.

I use this fan for an a diesel fuel auxiliary cooler. It only takes 3A or so and it moves a ton of air for its size. It is noisy, but who cares when it is mounted next to an industrial Diesel engine. I did convert it to a blower fan. Just pop out the snap ring, flip the fan on its drive hub, and reverse the polarity of the two wires. Word of advice though. The wires that come on the fan are thin walled 14 gage wires. If you are putting on an electrical connector, regular 14 gage wire seals will not work very well. I stepped stepped the seals up to 16 gage. This was the case for both Deutsch and Delphi connectors.

These are great fans, serving well. I've had a lot of flex a lite fans; I dont think I've ever burned up one! I have burned up cheap no name fans like the ones at auto parts stores.
