FIRST of all, is WORKING.No problems with installation.The only thing you have to care is the min and max power of this „transformer”.If you are in the „range” , you are OK and this item will be working as supposed to.

I use it to replace another transformer, but it has no mounting hardware the old one you stick them tape holes in it so I could’ve bolted it to the light fixture

Perfect fit for pendant light. Be sure to measure under the cover to be sure that it fits. Ordered a different one that was much bulkier and cover would not go over it so ordered this one.

Bought one that didn't work, seller replaced no charge. The replacement didn't work either. Using on 20w 12vac halogen bulb. I am a licensed electrician and I tested the product with my multimeter before installing and it had 0v between the 2 low voltage leads but shows 9v to ground. Still didnt work after install. There's something wrong with the windings and even the replacement product didn't work. Seller is responsive hence 3 stars instead of 1 .

We'll see what this low voltage step-down unit's longevity is like, its predecessor worked for 15+ years. I'm running it with a regular on-off switch so I can't speak to it's claimed viability with dimmers but it was an easy install and works as expected.
