I was expecting these to have a locking connection similar to other Anderson style connectors, but these are very weakly attached, and I wouldn't expect them to stay connected in any environment that vibrates or shakes. They pull apart too easily for my liking. All of the supplied covers are black and do not attach to your wiring, so they would be easy to lose. The metal connector is extremely hard to insert into the housing which once inserted doesn't come back out. I also found them extremely difficult align them when connecting them together.

These Powerpole connectors are good. I scraped one of the wipers and found copper underneath just as with the name brand. Also, the plastic connectors not only fit snug with each other they fit together properly with the name brand connectors. Good quality connectors at a good price.
