These look like well nuts, but they do not function as well nuts. The threaded brass inserts are not bonded to the rubber sleeve. They are loosely placed into the sleeve. They are not bonded to the sleeve in any way. As mentioned in other reviews, they will fall apart. They are made to look like well nuts, but they are fake.

The nut pulls from rubber sleeve very easily and there is some variation in size among the different sizes.

It stated it was 8mm wide and thought it would work for a 7.85mm hole which it doesnβt. Also looks like it will pull from the rubber easily. Not appearing to be glued or bonded to brass.

worst well nuts ive ever seen. the flare on the end was not enough to grab anything to get anywhere close to tight. the threads just pulled right out of the rubber. didnt expand at all because there was nothing to pull against. just pulled itself right out of the hole. returned for a refund. not a quality product at all.

I usually donβt like reviewing a product but I had purchased two sets and both sets did the same thing. Iβve used well nuts before and have never had the issue that when I tighten the bolt down (either by hand or with a drill) within a period of 20 minutes the bolt is loose again. On some of the well nuts the inner threading for the bolt turns which doesnβt allow the well nut to squish down at all. I am deeply disappointed. I would not trust these for any boating equipment etc

Do not buy as they do not hold up. The set I got had the threaded part just falling out of the rubber before I even started to use them.

These will suffice for light duty application, but the nuts pull out of the neoprene really easily. Tried to use on kayak, but there just to light duty
