I use a lot of archival sleeves and bags to protect photographs. I needed some quickly and these came in sizes that were great for magazines and paperbacks that I needed to protect right away. They do the job, but they are very thin and they don't lay flat. They all have "waves" in them because they are so thin. So, if you're looking to cover a book, a magazine, a comic, they are fine. But, I wouldn't recommend them for photographs that you want to preserve.

I’m not sure what’s wrong with mine. The length and width does not match. It doesn’t fit any standard book size I own. Length is too short or it’s so tall it that it leads large gaps. It’s by an inch or more length wise. Not sure if it’s a lemon, I need to put a tape measure to it

This is an excellent product. I’ve recently begun collecting rare and first edition books. Many of them came with mylar covers, and I realized that many of the books I already owned needed the same kind of protection. These covers are very easy to use, fit well, and even seem to add to the aesthetic of these special books on my shelf. If the cover is slightly smaller than the size ordered, they fold easily and stay in place. I’ve bought this product twice already and will definitely order it again as I need it.

I am re-reading some books about the Civil War that were originally published at the time of the bi-centennial of that war. Since so many are out of print, I'm having to buy used, and the dust jackets are in pretty rough shape. I'm counting on these mylar covers to protect them from further deterioration.

Bodart book covers are the best made. I’m so glad to have a source for these covers, which I have used for 30 years for covering every hard cover book I buy. The company has improved the covers, making them much easier to use than before.Covering a hard cover book with these covers makes handling a book so much easier.

I use these on my more valuable books in my personal library. It really makes them look nice and even blurs minor imperfections on the original dust jacket. These are wonderful.
