I got several 5000 mAh power banks from the Five Below store. They will power one of these lights for a continuous 50 hours.

These are some really neato little LED lights. I didn't even know such a thing existed until seeing these. They are impressively bright for such a tiny apparatus. I mainly got them to put in various survival kits, emergency kits, and to keep one in each vehicle I have. You can plug them into practically any standard usb port you can find that has power to it. Just one of these little guys will light up the entire inside of a two man tent! If you put it in a usb extension cable with a female connector on the end you can then easily aim it or hang it wherever you need to. One thing to note about them is that they require very little power and therefore will not always trigger all power banks to detect it and come on. I was usually able to get around this by first plugging my phone into the usb port then quickly unplugging it and plugging the light into it. That would activate the power bank and it would then power the light. Some power banks also have a low power shut off feature and would cut off after a minute or so, even with the light still plugged in. That is not very common though and in most situations the light itself is enough to activate the power bank. Overall these are some very cool little lights and a great addition to emergency kits or hiking and camping gear. I'm very glad I decided to try them out and I highly suggest you give them a try too. If nothing else they are just fun to play with.

I made the mistake of looking at this light when I plugged it in. I still have spots in my eye. This thing is bright!you can insert it into the port either direction which is good because the lights are only on one side. Think of this like the light on your phone. it works great pointing away from you. This is tiny! There's a hole that you can put a lanyard or connector on if you want.I have tons of those USB power banks i got from trade shows that I'll be adding to my backpack with this little gadget.
