I bought this to help with mounting my moving head lights with my DJ lighting truss. This comes very will handy so that I don't have to mess with too many mounting brackets my moving head lights came with. Makes it easy to adjust where I need it to be and locks in place when you screw down.

I often have problems just hanging a single light from a speaker stand for a solo gig. Not any more! These work perfectly and were the right price as well! Highly recommend them!!

Maybe I didn't look hard enough but the mounting screw is too large for any lights that I have (3/8" I believe) and forgot to send them back. Oh well.

These are definitely decent clamps. They are thick, don't bend, and have enough width to keep something mounted to a pole horizontal or vertically no problem. I've seen some pretty terrible cheesy ones that are thin and bend too much.My only concern would be the safety rating they claim. They claim 110lbs max load. Is that at any safety factor? Serious professional industry steel clamps are rated for 110lbs, so I'm thinking that these might not be rated exactly the same. They MAY hold 110lbs, but is that at 2:1? 5:1? 10:1? Who knows.I feel pretty comfortable hanging some LED Par lights from them for personal use, but I wouldn't put them in any situation that had to rely on the rated safety load.
