I used these to connect a plastic coated stranded wire clotheslines to a pole. I thought I would need turnbuckles to tighten the wire, but these were perfect and took up very little room. I just left enough extra clothesline to pull them tight and also use lock washers with the fasteners. Great product!

Very thick metal. Only issue is it’s hard to get 1/8” twisted steel wire to fit in the grooves. Had to use pliers to persuade them down into the slots. But I don’t see it going anywhere once tightened down. Overall, pretty happy.

I attempted to use these on the cable. I bought these for I had the size down properly. I just don’t have the strength to do and bend and even bothered to get the nut on. It wasn’t satisfied.

These are by far the worst winch nuts I have ever used a don’t hold anything down they keep slipping off absolutely horrible do not buy
