Drill bits sink into porcelain nicely and you shouldn't have any problems with drilling ceramic. The major issue with any drill bit is keeping it cool. Have a cup of water handy and keep dipping the bit. Since the bit is only 1/8", it's very easy to heat these up quickly. The carbide tip will become separated in a short time if you go full speed. I would recommend this item

Had to drill many holes in concrete blocks, both solid and hollow. Used my hammer drill motor and these beauties. They survived well and made the hard job much easier.

Drilled 12 holes in marble using two bits. Works best if bit is kept cool using spray bottle.
