This is also the correct diaphragm for a Stihl MS211C -- this model came with two possible Zama carburetors however the part number on this metering diaphragm is the same for both. My chainsaw had the C1Q-S120B carburetor. After installing the new diaphragm the chainsaw runs like new again. The old diaphragm had became distorted and very rigid. This is a very common problem. I have used mineral spirits or wd-40 to try and soften it and at least get it running while waiting on the new part....

You need to use the cardboard gasket from the original diaphragm.

I installed this in a 20yr old Stihl edger. This new one is significantly thinner than the original, so I wasn't sure it would work, but it does. I don't think the old diaphragm was the original (but is an OEM replacement), but from its inflexibility, I should have changed it a while ago. The diaphragm needs to be flexible to work properly. The new one certainly is flexible, floppy in fact, as it's so much thinner than the OEM. I can't predict how it will hold up over time, most likely it won't last as long as an OEM part. I considered deducting a "star" because of how thin it is, but given the price/quantity and the Pleasure of having it start easily again (for several cuttings), a deduction just seems silly. I'll see how it holds up over the winter.

my weed trimmer starts up like new again. I could not find the part number for my cub cadet weed trimmer so this diaphragm look all most the same as the original part so i order and fits perfect and starts up fast like new again!

Definitely not OEM. The gasket material is too thin....will not allow carburetor and orifices to work properly. They were cheap and a multi pack so I tried cutting the middle diaphram part out of two and stacking three to obtain correct thickness...was able to get the Stihl weedeater to start this way but not continue to run.Do not buy for a stihl product. Now I'm on the hunt for the correct gasket....local dealer wanted to sell me a whole new carburetor. The hunt continues.
