I use as a stiletto in my sewing to help fabric feed under the presser foot as I'm sewing. A bit short but they'll work well

We don’t have porcupines around where I live so it was pretty cool just to see porcupine quills! I will be using these to see the sensitive and gentle bites of many fish when ice fishing this winter.

I don't know why these have "plastic" in the heading, because I found them to be real porcupine quills. They're much shorter than the quills I usuall work with to make hair pins, but they have nice coloration and come to a sharp point. The white ends aren't as clean as I expected, so I did do a little shaving and shaping to make sure that they looked nice. They are all about 3.5-4" long.
