First I wanna say the ends are plastic and it is a little difficult to thread onto the linkage but if you listen to what I'm about to say it will make life so much easier. First start out by trying to thread the ends onto the linkage, if you are having a hard time apply some heat use a lighter or whatever barley heat the metal rod end up don't get it super hot hold the heat on it for about 5 seconds. The end will be just warm enough to make it easier to thread and it will hold when cold down. If you are knowledgeable then this should be a issue. There is more ways than 1 to thread these on not by just using a little heat, and the diy'ers know what I'm talking about. This is for the newbies. Don't over tighten the ends because you will strip'em out. All in all this is a good bang for your buck. I have several sets of these and they are good quality. The ends have never came off while I'm crawling.

The links that are provided are really good quality for the price but I’ll tell you now don’t waist your time on the rod ends they are very cheap plastic and will strip out every time the link is under pressure and with crawling it’s a lot

If you're looking for a cheap source of metal links these will do the job, but do yourself a favor and buy Axial or Traxxas rod ends.

Fit my Axial SCX10.2 Deadbolt perfectly. Great materials and nice finish. A bit tricky to figure out where everything fits and the orientation, but doable. Also a bit tricky to thread on the link ends. I used a bolt with same threads chucked in a drill. I ran that into all the ends to cut threads into the plastic before installing onto the rods. Helped a lot!

I’ve used these on a few rigs, and they do what you need them to do. I prefer to run a tap through the rod ends before putting them together because they don’t come threaded. You don’t HAVE to do this, but it saves a lot of frustration and foul language. I’ve also heard of people heating up the rod before putting them on to help thread them on. This allows the plastic to heat up and mold around the threads. I had a tap the size that I needed so I haven’t done this. The rods are metal rods. I don’t have much to say about them other than that. I have a few extra rods laying around from building rigs, and I will likely order these again if I decide to build another. There are no instructions telling you which rod gos in what location, and it doesn’t tell you which ends go on what rod. It’s not rocket science. If you’re not sure, then you might not want to build a custom rig.

I’m sure the links themselves are fine but the rod ends are trash. They don’t thread at all. Oh well. Ya get whatcha pay for…

Links are beefy and high clearance. The ends are not assembled or even threaded so it’s almost impossible to get them on. I got one end out of the whole set to actually thread on. Good news is same pitch as traxxas and axial.

I love these things. Kinda heavy, but the higher clearance and extra weight down low adds for extreme performance! It is some pretty tough, slick steel. It doesn't seem to gouge when rubbing rocks. Add a little wax to the links they hardly bind up on rocks. They are a little tough to get together but the plastic ends seem very quality.
