I got these to replace the loose/flimsy battery shells on the Xbox 360 controllers. Over time they became loose and won't keep the batteries in contact with the leads causing loss of connection to the console. No fun.These feel very similar to the original covers so I am guessing I'll get a couple years out of them before they get loose too. That's ok since the 360 has way outlived all expectations and I will be shocked if it lasts long enough for these to not work right.

I can use my XBOX 360 controller again! Sometimes, things break. Things like battery pack shells on your XBOX 360 controller; and no amount of duct tape fully helps (it helps a bit, but let's be honest, when you need to change the batteries inside, duct tape is annoying to get through -- especially the heat of the controller will have seemingly turned the tape's stickiness into super glue after a bit). This is a way better solution than duct tape. They look and work just like the original component, and now I have a working controller back in action. And a nice back up of replacement battery shells for the next time (note: they seem and feel just as sturdy as the original shell, so I don't anticipate needing to replace it again anytime soon, but like I said, sometimes a controller gets dropped -- it's nice to have some back ups, just in case).

If you still use a XBOX 360 this is a good buy - my controllers are in good condition but the battery covers were getting old and loose which resulted in the controller turning off and disconnecting in the middle of a game.These are perfect fits and bring back old controllers to life. Great price

I often find Xbox 360 controllers at flea markets, but they are usually missing the back. This time I bought a couple to use with these bases and they work great! Definitely worth the price. They fit snuggly, and had no issues powering my controller. I don't know what I will do with the other 8, but I am pleased with the price and the result!
