This review is for the 11pc Grout Removal Tool Kit, at a price of $7.99.I obtained this kit to redo some crumbling grout areas in my bathroom shower. The tiles were spaced fairly narrow, so I used the abrasive bladed tool to remove most of the surface grout, then used the narrow scraper tool (as well as a utility knife) to remove the grout deeper between the tiles. Since I only had a few spots to re-grout, it wasn't too difficult for this tool. I am not sure I would use this tool to re-grout a large area, but for small jobs, this is definitely useful and a good bargain. The handles feel comfortable and durable and the blades are easy to replace when necessary. Since my job was small, I did not get to determine how long lasting the blades are.

I ordered this grout removal tool to remove & clean up some areas of grout that should have been caulked originally. I used this grout scraper to break down the grout - chipping it away in areas where it was already cracking, and grinding it away in areas where it was sturdier.The tool performed quite well, grinding away the grout as well as I anticipated it would. I was able to complete the initial work with just the 1st blade, and it's still in very good condition / ready to tackle additional areas. The handle is comfortable, sturdy, and overall very easy to work with. This entire kit (with the included replacement blades) cost less than a single removal tool (with single blade) purchased locally - outstanding value offered by this set. Easy to use, easy to recommend.

When our shower was constructed, one of the contractors used the wrong type of grout and it didn't match the rest of the shower. This being the modern era, the guy over the job promised to come back and fix it, but then came a stream of excuses and weeks turned to months turned to years... so, I, fed up finally caved and decided to look into how I might correct the issue. My first thought was a rotary tool, but I was worried about damaging the tiles and slinging debris. I'm thankful I found these tools. Perfect for the job. They take a little effort, but really do a great job of grinding the grout out. The handle is comfortable and easy to hold while sawing on the grout to grind it out. Now I'll be able to get the right kind right where I need it so I can stop looking at the mismatched spot every day.Given that you get two sets of tools, and replacement blades, I feel this is a fair deal and great value for the low price.

Our shower gets a lot of use, and over time, mildew will appear in parts of the grout. I keep up with it by applying bleach and then re-sealing the grout with a sealer. This works 95% of the time, but there are some areas where I just can't get the grout fully rid of the mildew. In that case, I clean out the grout, re-grout it, and then re-seal. It's for this situation that I needed a decent grout scraper, and the Ywmoml grout removal kit fits the bill. I previously used a small grout scraper that I bought at the local hardware store, but it was rough on my fingers to hold on to. The grout scraper handles in this kit are a clear step up in comfort and control, and I am able to prepare the area I need to work on in just a few minutes. The kit has multiple grout scraping blades and also includes a caulk removal hook tool and its own replacement blades. Overall, this is a great little kit that, for my needs, will last a long time.

This grout removal tool kit is well-made and a good value, but it has some limitations when tackling larger projects.Pros:✔ Good Value: Comes with multiple saws, extra blades, and a tile gap cleaning tool for a reasonable price.✔ Comfortable Handles: Ergonomic design makes extended use easier.✔ Effective for Small Jobs: Works well for touch-ups and small grout removal sections.✔ Bonus Tile Gap Cleaning Tool: Helps pick out loose grout chunks efficiently.Cons:✖ Limited Corner Access: Could use more of a blade offset to better reach grout in tight corners.✖ Requires Significant Effort: Manual removal takes considerable force and is time-consuming for larger areas.✖ Not Ideal for Large Jobs: Reciprocating tool attachments are far superior for removing grout in bulk.Conclusion:This kit is great for small grout repair jobs and touch-ups but is not the best choice for large-scale grout removal. If tackling an entire floor or large sections, power tool attachments will save time and effort.

I picked this tool because I was looking for something to help remove old caulking as well as grout.The day it arrived, I happened to be working on a little face-lift in my main bathroom. I put the tool to work right away to remove old caulking from a pedestal sink.It comes with 2 handles with 6 extra course-coated blades and another handle with a hooked attachment plus 2 additional hooked attachments. Be sure, when changing the blades, that you do so on a flat surface because there are little screws and nuts that hold the blades onto the handle and you don’t want to lose the little nuts!I used the hook attachment to pull the caulking up and out of the little gap between the top, back of the sink and the wall. It worked really good because the caulking was old and no longer very flexible and was much safer than using a razor blade.As to the handles with the course-coated blades: if you are using these along a bathtub, I would use some painters tape to cover the edge of the tub just outside the grout or caulking line to protect the surface of the tub, especially if it’s fiberglass. The blades are very course and you want to be sure you don’t scratch the surface of your tub.For my purpose, that day, the tool helped me a lot and made removal of the sink much faster, safer and less tedious.For the price of this tool and, if you decide to do a repair of grout or caulking, it’s one of those things that’s great to have at your disposal to help the job go smoother and safer.
