Used for replacing broken aluminum compressor air supply tubing to a copper tubing connector. Worked well.Saved my old compressor which otherwise would be trashed.

I needed one 1/8 inch ferrule, but they are not so easy to find. By the time I fired up my truck and drove around looking for one, I'd spend $20. Instead, I bought this assortment, and am stocked up for the rest of my life, I'll never use all of these up.Every backyard mechanic needs one of these around.

I didn't need this kit for any specific project, by I just wanted to have it on-hand in my toolbox. I'm a shade tree mechanic. I'm always tinkering with things and repairing my own stuff, so I always try to keep kits like cotter pins, hitch pins, zip ties, and ferrules in my toolbox. This kit fit the bill!

At the time I ordered these I thought they might be too big to use to modify an oil sender connection by drilling and tapping, but they are way to tiny instead. They might be good for something someday but not for what I hoped.
