It's a well made item. I wish it were longer by a half inch on each end. I used it to connect 2-100' pool discharge hoses. I purchased this over a plastic coupling for more flow as this has a much thinner wall. I tightened hose clamps securely to this coupling but the hose blew off. I connected it back up and cranked on the clamps and continued to drain a big pool without further delay.
