Rough idle had to replace it with OEM parts this won’t last long on your car

I bought this VVT's exactly 3 months ago for my 2006 BMW 325xi, thinking that product could be better, even though I checked the reviews before my purchase. Unfortunately this is product that should on anybodys shelf, bad quality on the materials, very low quality on the plastic parts and o-ring and performance wise, shame on this supplier for selling this brand. Totally agree with Mr Johnathan McLaughlin review. I got the old ones back on my car and the problem disappear

I just swapped these into my 2011 E90. The car was running fine with the old ones and I didn't have any codes. I just wanted to try to improve power a bit, and figured I'd try swapping these out. However, once I took it out for a drive, when it would idle down it would run VERY rough and even stalled and almost stalled many times. I got back home and hooked up a scanner and had a code related to the intake vanos solenoid. So I took that one out and put the old one back in and it took care of the problem. I then took a 9v battery and touched it to the prongs on the electrical connector, and the solenoid didn't move at all. The old ones definitely moved when testing them the same way. So 1 out of the pair was a dud. I don't recommend this brand unless you get them for free.
