TY....THESE ARE EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR (FOR A CRAFT PROJECT)....I HAVENT GOT TO THE CRAFT YET, BUT THESE POPPED UP FOR A BUCK I THINK....SHOULD HAVE GRABBED MORE LOL....THEY ARE THE PERFECT SIZE AND SOLID

I used these rods for my photography exam and I made the photos stick out with the rod. At first I was scared they would be too thin and not strong enough to hold my photos in place. But they did the job and I’m very impressed. The only problem with them being so strong is that they are so hard to cut into pieces! I had to put a knife over it and use a Nutella jar to hit the knife and eventually break the stick!

Purchased these for a project that needs to be food safe just in case. They are NOT hollow. They are very sturdy and very solid. Now I'm just waiting for gardening sheers so I can cut them properly, as cutting using my kitchen knives would be far too much work and would dull the knives. I tried. These are solid enough that you need either a hacksaw or gardening sheers to cut these down to size without splintering them.Also, in case anyone is wondering, they hold up well when drilling holes in them.I would have no qualms using these for a cake.

Um mehrstöckige Torten zu bauen, muss man dann doch auf Stützen zurückgreifen, damit die ganze Torte nicht in sich zusammen sackt.Darum bestellte ich mir diese hübschen Bambusholz-Stützen und bin begeistert davon.Sie sind recht dünn, aber doch sehr stark. Sie sind einfach zu kürzen - ok, das muss auch ich noch etwas optimieren. Am besten mit einer Garten- oder Rosenschere kürzen.Das Holz ist schön verarbeitet und auch die Enden sind schön glatt und geschliffen.Sie lassen sich sehr einfach in den Kuchen stecken und auch wieder recht leicht entfernen.Ich finde das macht so in Summe einen sehr hygienischen Eindruck.Für eine doppelstöckige Torte (26er und 20er Durchmesser) habe ich sogar nur 3 Holzstützen in die untere Torte gebaut, das war völlig ausreichend und die obere (doch recht schwere und kompakte) Torte hat super darauf gestanden.Ich würde diese Bambushölzer immer wieder kaufen und kann sie nur empfehlen.
