I got this as a sparring timer, so I did not immediately start using the other functions. This is perfect for timing rounds and gives the appropriate 1 minute break between rounds. The display is large enough for any use I can think of (workout timing, crossfit, etc.), and the tone at the end of each period can't be missed. The remote is a must-have for it to be useful, so I'm glad it came with one. I remember the old timers from the 1980s and the big button on the top that would need to be hit to reset the timer. It mounts to the wall easily, but I used velco to allow me to move it between several spots around my workout area. I've not used it for workout timing yet, but I can just grab it from its location, stick it to the wall and plug it in.I think the letdown is not in the clock, but in the instructions being written with very poor English translations. It takes some thinking about what they mean, but it can eventually be figured out.For this price, I think this is a well made and well designed unit, suffering only poor instructions. Also, pro tip: Use a power bank to run it instead of a wall plug. The power bank I used lasted me several hours of run time (10,000mAhr). I don't need to use one, as I have outlets nearby, but I thought for use in meetings I would see if it worked, and it does.

There were a couple of reasons that I liked this clock.I though it was easy to read because of its size, brightness, and color. Also, the timer itself seemed durable and accurate.Depending on your needs, this could be a good additional for home workouts.

This review is for the Rolilink Gym Interval Timer, 12" Digital Wall Alarm Clock Timer for Interval Workout with Countdown/Up Stopwatch, Tabata EMOM Remote Control for Home Gym Boxing MMA Fitness.I wanted the Rolilink timer for timing in the kitchen. I see now that it is not a good application. There is a big bright display but the timer is heavy and not straightforward to set. Plus the Rolilink requires AC power. If you have a home gym the Rolilink timer is probably just the thing. My mistake to try to use it as a kitchen timer.

I have this clock/timer mounted on the wall in my home gym. It has been amazing for time-based reps, rhythm-based exercise, counting up, counting down, whatever you might need. And its a good clock too. The beeper is a little loud but not a problem in a gym setting. The remote works great and there are tons of features I haven't even learned yet. Highly recommended!

I thought this unit could possibly replace the tabata timer on my phone. I think it is a good size for a home gym and the numbers are plenty easy to read. The instruction booklet on the other hand, unless you have perfect vision, you might need reading glasses. The type print in the instructions is quite small. In addition, if you don't understand what certain exercise acronyms are, the instructions don't explain them. The functions include target timer, countdown, stopwatch, clock, EMOM timing, TABATA timing, FGB timing, Beat, and user-defined. I was able to set the clock and set and use the user-defined cyclic training. I like the brightness can be turned up and down. The "beep" tone seems a bit harsh to me, but is also the common tone used for timers. I wish I could turn the volume on the "beep" down a bit more. I will continue to use this and will attempt to figure out another function or 2.

I will say from the product photos I thought that this wall clock was going to be a lot bigger than it actually was. The build is mostly aluminum (although really thin feeling), and my unit seems to rattle a bit when shaken as if something was loose inside. The unit all together looks nice but feels a little cheap. It comes included with a long USB-C cable and charger brick for powering the unit, a thin bungie type elastic cord with anchors and two adhesive anchors for mounting the unit, and a wireless remote that uses traditional batteries (not included) for programming the clock. I initially hung it up using the elastic cord but found that it wasnt very stable as the rope was very thin yet bouncy. I ended up using the two adhesive anchors to mount it to my mirror which is holding up really nicely. It was a little overwhelming to figure out all the different functions of this clock at first and the instructions although very in depth was a little hard to follow. Once I figured it out this unit felt very simple and easy to use. You are able to use it as a traditional clock, or switch it to timer mode and each button on the remote 1-9 corresponds to a preset that you can program in with different time intervals in combination with cooldown times. Example: I have the 1 button set to four 1 minute intervals with 30 second cooldown in between and this repeats 4 times. One nice feature is that the cooldown timer is able to do a countdown beep to prepare you for the next block of workout (also programmable). I have it count down the last 3 seconds of cooldown before the next 1 minute section.Overall I love this little clock. The wireless remote is nice so that I can start and stop different timers from around my garage gym. The build quality is just ok but since it's mounted to a wall you really wouldn't be able to tell. I think this is a great addition to a home gym as a digital clock or to keep track of your workout intervals.
