This tool is so much easier for to use as I'm really limited in what I can do with the torque Rachel. It keeps me in the shop and allows me to do a little anyways.

I like doing repair and brakes on my vehicles, it is nice to put the tires back without needing a torque wrench.

Ever since working at the Motor Pool and Garage at the University of Nevada, Reno when I was an undergrad where I used to help repair flat tires and general shop work, I have always wanted a pneumatic impact wrench with torque sticks. This made that "want" become a reality. This past weekend, I replaced the brake pads, inner and outer tie rods on my 2006 Nissan Pathfinder and used the torque sticks to put the tires back on. I love knowing that my lug nuts are torqued to factory spec. Would buy again.

I like the variety of sizes in this kit for torque values. I use a Milwaukee M18 for an impact driver for my job and used it to test the torque values of this torque stick kit. I used 2 different Snap-On torque wrenches to test the final torque values the M18 applied with these torque sticks. Consistently the actual torque was 20 ft-lbs higher than the labeled value of every torque stick. The M18 has no adjustment for impact, so if I were to use these on the job with the available impact drill, I would have to make sure I am using the torque stick that is 20 ft-lbs lower than the necessary finished torque value. These may work better with a different impact tool that may have adjustable impact, but these would not be accurate with the tools I have available to work with.I have upgraded my rating of this item to 4 stars because I have found that these work much better with air driven impact tools rather than battery operated tools because the air level of drive can be more consistent and controlled, battery driven tools are less reliable because of the variance in charge of the battery during use. The only problem this presents to me is that we do not have air impact tools available at my job, so we have to do the torque reduction and adjustment when we use them.Overall I find this to be a very useful time saving torque kit if used with the right drivers.
