12' Fringer Press Brake Attachment/Press Brake Attachment For Standard 20 Ton Hydraulic Shop Presses with 18' between the vertical uprights-Quaintfab

This press brake attachment is an improved version of some similar items that I've seen and tried. This brake has thicker vertical columns with more precise bearings to hold the pieces in much better alignment during the bending process. It's easier to get better bends, and I think even though this one costs a little more, it's still a great value. I was using one of the cheaper versions in my not-so-great 12-ton press, while bending some 3/16" by 4" steel straps, and things got out of alignment and the bend was poor. Okay, the press contributed to the problem, but using this unit with the same press gave me really nice 90 degree bends. I've since opted for a more rigid press, because maintaining proper alignment makes a big difference for bending, and this unit is a significant step up for that. Also, this unit allows removing finger sections for more flexibility, which is a feature I have not seen on the lesser brake attachments.
