  • We all know how it feels to just be too hot, whether you're spending your summer at a theme park with your family, in the stands at a sports game, golfing, or relaxing at home. Spending your precious vacation sweating and overheating isn’t our idea of a good time. That's why we developed the Chill Pal Multi Style Cooling Band: your coolest buddy! The band gets cold and stays cold, much more versatile than a normal cloth.
  • Easy Breezy – There are no complicated instructions here. Simply remove the Chill Pal, soak it in cold water, wring it out, and its ready to wear around your neck. If it starts to get warmer, simply rinse and repeat, and stay cool while fishing, hunting, hiking, or even on the job. Chill Pal also makes the perfect gift and stocking stuffer for the whole family!
  • 12 Ways To Wear – With our new band, you can wear it as any of the following: A headband, bandana, face cover, hair cover, full ninja cover, and many other variations and styles of those.
  • Wear As Pictured - Simply place your head all the way through the tube so that your face is showing, with the band covering all of your head and the elastic below the chin. Then, take the extra material from around the neck, below the elastic under your chin, and pull the extra slack up over your nose to wear the band as a full ninja mask as seen in the photo!

I play golf in extreme hot weather. I follow all instructions and it doesn’t feel like it stays cold any longer than any other towel. Too loose to just wear around the neck and too tight for all other wear options.

A very light, breathable Cooling Neck Gaiter. It definitely cools you down. Wet it, Wring it, Snap it. It works. If there is a heatwave, put it on damp or once you've snapped it. Works that way as well. Highly recommended

I bought cooling towels last year, 2019. Several of them. They kept me cooler than I would have been without them. However, they were towels draped across the neck. I even resorted to putting the towel inside my hat to make a legion type head peace to cover my neck. It was awkward but worked. This year I went looking for more cooling products and came across a few products called cooling neck gaiters.I had a choice between two cooling neck gaiters when I started looking for one. People gave Chill Pal the better ratting and better reviews. So I choose that one.My Chill Pal Neck Gaiter arrived pretty quick and was a nice gray color. This is my only complaint so I will mention it now. It smelled. So I washed it and the smell went away. This product is the bomb. I can wear it many ways which I could not do with a cooling towel. My favorite ways are the "pirate hat", the "ninja (aka Balaclava)", "face mask" and the "foreign legion".I have sever allergies from pollen and grass dust when mowing or going from car to home, work, or stores. This year I have run out of medical masks due to the COVID-19 virus. I usually wear a medical mask from March to October whenever I have to go outside. Guess what? Wearing the Chill Pal "ninja" style or just pulled up from my neck as a thin "face cover" blocks the air born allergy causing stuff. The "ninja" blocks the best but is a little harder to breath and warmer than the cooler thin layer "face mask" style. A plus, is that I can breath better with the Chill Pal than I was with the paper medical masks or dust masks. One important thing, don't wet the Chill Pal if you are going to wear it as a mask as it is very very hard to breath, almost like being water-boarded. I had to choose. Wet it and be cool or keep it dry and breath. Not a problem. The very next day I ordered a second gray one because I loved my Chill Pal. A few days later it arrived. Now I can wear one as a dry mask and wet the other and wear it on my head and neck. Best of both worlds. Seeing as the Chill Pal Neck Gaiter acts as a sun blocker I can forgo my floppy summer hat and my head can release the heat better through the Chill Pal better than the hat.My Chill Pal Neck Gaiter beats any of the cooling towels I own. Just wet it every hour to keep it wet. You can even snap it or whirl it around to get it cool again in between wetting it.After I'm done with them I hand wash both with a little mild hand soap and warm water in the sink. I wring them out and hang them up and they are dry within an hour or two. I fold them back up and put them in their very nice and thick zip lock pouch. I hang them in my closet on a wire hanger using the included carabiners all ready for me in case I have to go back outside. I hope I don't forget to pack them when I go hiking and camping. I may just hook them to the mollies on my backpack so I don't forget them.PS: After buying the Chill Pals I did buy the other brand. I wanted to be sure I bought the right one. The other brand is more like wearing pantyhose on your face and dries more quickly if you wet it. It is scratchy to my skin. The Chill Pal is more like a bathing suit material, soft and cool, and stays wetter longer.

Cooling power is similar to the microfiber cooling towel I have from another brand. This is easier to wear around the neck than the towel, although I find it a bit less versatile because the width appears to be a necessary design compromise: slightly too tight to wear around my head, but a bit too loose (and a bit too much material?) around the neck. In my so far limited experience, I think it cools a tiny bit less effectively than the towel, but it retains moisture and cooling properties longer. I also think the material may actually be more cooling than the microfiber but it tends to bunch up more if just worn around the neck, limiting air passage. The upside of this is that you can easily "flip" it while you're wearing it to redistribute the wetter part to your neck. In any case, it is definitely worth the purchase price. I can now walk a bit further on hot+humid days (although the higher the humidity, the less effective the chill pal is, same as the towel) before suffering heat exhaustion effects, and walks are significantly more pleasant with it.

I used my Chill Band twice this summer so far. It did give me a cooling feeling when wearing it during some really warm days. Because it comes in a little pouch with a belt clip makes it easy to carry so it will be there when needed. Just add water, snap and ready to use. I was concerned about having something wet on my clothes; color bleeding and transfer. I wore a white tee and was very happy to see there was no staining or discoloration of my shirt after wearing the Chill Band all day. All around good product. I gave it 4 stars because I couldn't seem to figure out how to get the cooling to last longer than about an hour without resoaking. The instructions say the cooling lasts for hours; if not it can be snapped and the cooling should start again. I found I had to resoak it just about every hour I was out to keep it cool. It was not a big deal because it's warm out I had water. All-in-all great product not as cumbersome as a cooling vest.

i really like this Item there are several ways in which it can be worn which means it's really versatile, see youtube for reviews and tutorials.. Once damp and flicked the coolness of the material is noticeable. Washes easily, given the summer we are having it's great if your going hiking or bike riding etc.......

I used this for the first time last weekend hiking up a hot, steep mountain trail and was so impressed I kept talking about it to my hiking partner. I am a field biologist and love hiking and backpacking, but my Achilles heel is always a (probably genetic) tendency to overheat. Put me in a group of people exercising in a hot environment, and I will always be the first one to fail - sometimes dangerously so in extreme conditions. I have tried everything over the years to keep myself cool: long loose clothing, sun hats, dousing myself with water, and wet bandanas around the neck. However, this thing is a game-changer for me. I got it in anticipation of a 40 mile backpack trip I have planned, and am (being well into middle age) slightly intimidated by, and so was looking for any advantage I could get. Although the Chill Pal doesn't appear at first glance to be much different from a standard "wet bandana" option, the material has such different properties than cotton (which just gets hot and wet) that it was light years more effective for me. I did as directed - wetting it, "snapping" (no special technique - just air it out), then wearing around my neck as soon as I started to overheat. It feels like slippery, soft, bathing suit material, and is comfortable and actively cool - even cold feeling. Basically it stopped my overheating process in its tracks - more effective than anything I've tried short of dumping a bucket of water over my head. I was in hot, dry conditions outdoors, where I'm guessing it excels most. When the sun got its most intense, the Chill Pal is long enough that I pulled it up over my head like a hood, which probably looked goofy but I didn't care - it kept my ears from sunburning and my head cool. I'm totally sold and won't hike or do field work in deserts or hot conditions now without this.
