I only needed a foot or two to replace funky straps on respirator. Straps had plastic clips in the back of your head. When I cut excess length on straps. Strap totally unraveled, very quickly.

I purchased this cord so that I could start making my own face masks. After making one mask as a trial, I can say that it's a very good quality type of cord -- very stretchy and soft. It doesn't fray when cut, and I was able to pull the knotted end through easily so that it would be hidden under the fabric. I look forward to using it again for masks or other projects.

This elastic is perfect for mask makers - it's nice and soft with good stretch and comfort. It is not the same elastic that I've come to know as standard elastic cord so I am curious about its long-term durability, but for the time being, it seems to get the job done. Product shipping was an issue, however, as it took over a month to arrive due to customs/USPS delays.

I purchased these to use for ear pieces while making face masks during Covid 19. Worked as expected and made my masks more comfortable for those who wore them. It took a long time to receive the product though.

I bought the cord (110 yards) for masks. It seemed to be soft and comfortable for the ears. I haven't worn the mask for a longer time yet. I will see how long the cord will last after many washes.A reviewer wrote "The item information said it was 110 yards. I measured it and it was only 88 yards." So out of curiosity, I measured the cord and got 92 yards. To be conservative, I could say I got 100 yards. I gave 3 stars because I did not get 110 yards and don't know the durability of the cord. I still kept the cord because I needed it for masks.
