These are much thinner and rougher than what I remember of the paisley bandanas that I grew up using. You can expect to see through them quite a bit. The ones that were shipped to me arrived frayed and the fraying multiplied after washing. As a plus, the design looks good and the print stayed well after washing. I'm assuming more washes will soften the material further.

I ordered this $12 Pistha cotton bulk set of a dozen paisley bandanas (Amazon ASIN B0DP9B9PN4) because I needed a handful of neck cloths for a western-themed kid's birthday party. For that purpose, these extremely inexpensive colorful bandanas fit the bill. However, let's be very clear these are cheap bandanas, so let's not kid ourselves. From the images I've attached, you can see that they're only about 3/4 of an ounce each and so thin, almost like gauze, that light goes right through them. They're printed only on one side (which is fine) and the cotton doesn't feel soft (but they did soften up after washing - yet they started fraying immediately). They measured, at most, at 20-3/4 inches on a side, and they were square.Having said that, we have to keep in mind that these bandanas are a dollar each, so what were we expecting? They're fine for the kids' one-time use, where each kid gets to take his or her colors home, and every color was surprisingly vivid, as you can see from the attached photos.Overall, they are exactly what they purport to be. We shouldn't expect more out of them than that, given the price. For more information, please see the included detailed photos. In explaining all of this, I hope this review helps you make a more informed decision.

This is a 12 pack of cotton bandanas. There are 12 colors. They measure 21" x 20-1/2". The fabric is very thin and you can see through the fabric because the weave of the fabric is not tight. I'm hoping after washing and drying that the threads/ weave tighten up. I'll update on durability.

Good quality. Great colors. This is a nice assortment of a range of tones.

Very disappointed with these. They are printed well, but they are so thin you can see through them. I just wanted them as handkerchiefs but I don’t think they would even work well enough for that. Also the edges on almost all of them frayed after a single wash. Very low quality. Might work well for a costume but I wouldn’t recommend these. They are thin, scratchy, and non-absorbent. They are going straight in my rag bin.

Tested these since I’ve always carried a hanky to clean my glasses. This 12-pack’s awesome—cotton’s soft, solidly made, and holds up great after wiping smudges all day. Durable enough to toss in my pocket and keep going. Love having a bunch on hand

I ordered this 12-pack of bandanas in the color “Multi Color” for my husband. He wears bandanas to protect his bald head from the Florida sun while at work and to absorb sweat. These are thick enough that they function perfectly for those purposes without being so thick that they’re too hot for him to wear. They feel like a stiffer sort of cotton, so they have basically no give or stretch to them. My husband definitely appreciates the 100% cotton material, as he considers polyester bandanas unacceptable. They’ve got that most common paisley print, which looks crisp, if a little boring, but the variety of colors does give him some room for self-expression. Though the print is boldest on one side, it still shows through quite vividly on the underside. These are a standard size and square shape, so my husband has no problem tying them off as usual. Finally, all of the expected colors were included: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, navy blue, light purple, dark purple, light pink, brown, white, and black.
