I can't tell you if these work or not. They smell so bad I could not use them. Like super sized mothballs. They do, however, seem to deter the neighbor's cat from visiting.

These are supposed to be peppermint and citronella. They actually seem to be moth balls and are very strong. They don't seem to repel mosquitos as I've watched them happily fly right by and into my house to torture me some more.

This really worked! I was overwhelmed with clouds of mosquitos at my house porch and since I placed them out there they are gone!It has a little smell but nothing that bothers and understandable since they are potent to be able to keep the mosquitos away

I had these out for one night and the smell is so strong it almost repelled me. I have a splitting migraine today and think the strong moth ball odor of these contributed. I’m going to return these and hope for the best from the mosquito repellant incense I bought at the same time.

I have mixed reviews on these. They have a very strong smell, and after day two we had headaches, and had to remove them from inside the house. We had them hanging, one in each bedroom by the windows, and it was just too strong. Now, with that said, I do feel that they work well. We moved them to hang right by the front and back door, one inside, and one outside, and in the garage and on the porch, and I have noticed way less bites then the previous weeks before getting these.I would recommend for camping and for the parameters of the entry points of the home. I will still search for something else to have in the bedrooms, as we do get bites at night, but that has gone way down as well since our entry points have these around them.

The smell when they first come out of the bag is a little strong but not unpleasant — just that sort of stifling moth ball smell. I put them on the frame above my door and by my front window in the hopes of keeping them from coming in the house. The smell dissipated quickly, within 24 hours it was much more bearable and within 48 strangers didn’t mention it. So far no mosquito has come into the house through that door so I’m hoping that means something worked.
