While others may use these for academic purposes, I've added them to my small, yet growing, taxidermy collection. These 12 creepy crawlies came well packaged, each piece came wrapped in easy to open plastic, and there wasn't a mark on any of them. Each insect is positioned in a way that is easy to examine them with the provided magnifying on any given side, the resin cube does not get in the way or take any of the viewing pleasure away.Judging by other's review photos, there may be some variation in a few of the bugs you receive. I did not receive any copies (although 2 scorpions, different colors, which I don't mind at all). I wouldn't be surprised if that's in the description, which I didn't check, but figured it'd be worth noting.All in all, this is super inexpensive and in return you receive 12 perfectly preserved creepy crawlies to use in class, as decoration, as exploring with your kids or for yourself.

Toddler just LOVES his bugs. It came with a magnifying glass so we look at them up close all the time. Really cool toy for him to play with.

Did not come with any paperwork explaining to children what the are looking at! The box was already opened and torn. The price is not worth purchase!!
