These plates are exactly what I needed. Deep but not too deep, and lightweight yet durable. I needed something lightweight and fit for everyday use, my mother has a hard time holding a plate if it's too heavy because her hands shake, these are great for her as well as for my toddler who thinks she's independent. These are plain white yet stylish, I love that they came in a pack of 12, the only con about them is they are not microwave safe.

These pieces could double as somewhat deep dinner plates or somewhat shallow soup bowls. They are advertised as for pasta, but could be put to many uses. They are your basic white, so they will go with pretty much anything.They are sturdy and rated for dishwasher or fridge, but not for oven (of course), stove top (ditto) or microwave. The last one is a slight limitation for me since I often reheat meals on a plate. But NBD.At the give-away price, you could get these just for backup purposes, like when your large extended family comes to call.Pretty good deal IMO

Italian night at our house would not have been the same without these little bowls!Now they do have a small center, but it helped us control our portions. They were sturdy, super well priced for the quanity, didn't scratch, they looked great, were really sturdy and didn't break when dropped.The server was happy and stated they didn't burn his hands and with the color they're versatile enough that they'll be used again and again.
