Threads in my existing plastic plug were badly worn. Could not prevent leaks with teflon tape. This plug fits perfectly and no leaks with thin layer or tape. Not sure how long it will take to use the other 11, but at least I’ll have extra incase of failure.

Recently purchased an RV and the terrible egg smell from the water heater was present. Tossed the old drain plug and after cleaning the water heater I installed these plugs and it was simple, easy and have enough to last a few years.
