This set of acrylic cheese markers is OK. The markers are hard enough to pierce firm cheese but probably would not hold up against hard cheeses like Parmigiano-Reggiano. They are a convenient size for home charcuterie or cheese boards but will look small if you have a giant wheel of cheese. Most of the markers have clean cut edges, but there was one that had a little nick on one edge. The set comes with a white chalk pen for writing on the markers. You can see the writing pretty clearly even though the markers are translucent. Clean the writing off like a wet-erase pen, not a dry erase pen.The biggest shortcoming of this set is that it's quite difficult to fully erase what you've written on the markers. Using a damp paper towel removes most of the pen, but you will still see traces of what you wrote or a thin white film from the pen ink. A good scrubbing with soapy water and a sponge does take most of the ink off, but I wish it was easier to take the ink off when you have a spelling or spacing mistake.

Ontodex Store acrylic food markers are a perfect size for charcuterie boards. The included marking pen is easy to read and writing wipes off with paper towel and water.

In these days of allergies we are often asked to indicate ingredients like nuts in foods we bring to share. These acrylic markers are perfect for that purpose. The white marker pen gives them a professional, stylish touch even if you don't have great handwriting. The ink must dry thoroughly before you touch it or it will smear, but then it can easily be washed off for reuse over and over. Of course they'd be great for their regular purpose to mark items on your charcuterie tray.

These are a nice thickness and stick well into any block of cheese. They are big enough to write on with nearly any cheese label. They come with a pen that you can write on the tags with and then erase. I love that there is no waste like when I use card tags. These are perfect for our next charcuterie party.
