This is a very heavy-duty patch panel box. The box itself as well as both side lids are made of heavy-gauge metal with a black powder coating. It's also wired for an earth connection, if you need that.I appreciate that there are built-in cable holders (they clip and push, kind of like zip-ties, but then you can release them if needed).This one has four keystone jacks, and they fit the normal CAT6 keystone couplers I have. You can switch them out or do other types of jacks too - anything that fits a normal patch panel keystone port.This is great for a small patch panel - such as running cable in your house, where you don't need a lot of ports but don't want to just have couplers hanging around or be directly using the ends of the cables in the walls.

This is a well constructed all-metal 8 port patch panel with a twist - it has cable management on both sides of the keystone jack so not only are cables going into the back of the patch panel held firmly in place but the patch cables connected to the front are also secured and their connection into the keystone jacks are shielded from view. This would best be used in cases where you are not changing the patch cables plugged into the panel very often as you have to lift the front of the patch panel to access the keystone jacks (although you do have the option of leaving this front lid completely off if you want to retain full access to the patch panel at all times)It has two sets of screw holes for various wall-mounting options.Can't emphasize enough how heavy-duty this product is, its built like a tank so very durable. It also features an metal shielding that goes around all the keystone jacks to provide extra shielding from EMI.Great product and a good value at this price point for something this well made

I will be using this for cables that are in a vulnerable area. This box is really well built. They are nice tie downs for the input and output cables, and steel covers that look like they could endure any abuse. Really nice.
