I'm beginning a small electical project and this block should meet my needs nicely. As I'm still deciding on the other parts I need, my only test of the block was to install a fuse in each of the circuits and verify the continuity - they all work fine. I expect my total current through the block to be about 50amps, which is less than half of what this block is rated for.The block seems perfectly fine for the job, but I noticed that the blade fuses take more force to insert than I've experienced with other fuse blocks. I don't consider this to be negative or positive, just an observation.

I'm building a camper van and doing the 12v wiring so I needed some fuse blocks. I bought the high priced version first but when I decided I needed a second box I gave this one a try at about half the price. Honestly I can't see a difference between the two and it definitely does the job. Just run a main DC feed to the terminals and then you can run 6 separate lower powered lines with an individual fuse on each run. Never install power lines without fuses, that's how things burn down, I've seen it happen and it's ugly. Nice unit at a good price.

I like the overall build on this little fuse block. The whole unit feel fairly solid and heavy considering its size. The top protective cover has a yellow release lever and pops right off. There are two sides to the fuse setup for positive and negative sources. It comes with generous amount of fuse description labels for keeping it organized.I disassembled the base plate of the fuse block to look at the inner working. The block's weight definitely comes from the quality of metal used inside of this fuse block. It is nice to see a product where the outer housing is not the reason its weight. It is the internals where the focus was placed on this product. A good manufacturing job done with this fuse block. The blade fuses I tested slid in with a bit of effort and are very secure once in. I am definitely looking forward to using this with our solar panel setup. 5 stars.
