304 Hex Lag Screws
Hex lag screws feature deep wood screw threads and does not accept a nut when securing wood in heavy duty applications. Typically used where standard wood screws cannot support the load like deck building.
Application

Stainless Steel 304
Composition
304 (A2) is the most extensively used austenitic stainless-steel. It's also known as stainless steel 18/8 which is derived from the nominal composition of 18% chromium and 8% nickel.
Thanks to the chromium content, 304 stainless steel products show excellent corrosion and oxidation resistance.
Weakness
304 Stainless Steel is more likely to corrode from saline environments in coastal areas. That means grade 316 stainless steel is highly recommended for tough applications under the marine environment where there is more powerful acids and chemicals.

I used these to attach wall anchors into the studs for my exercise pulley system, and they worked great. Steady and solid, and gripper in well into the studs. Good quality.

These 304 stainless steel lag bolts kept my parking street light bolted and securely attached to my shed. The 2 main reasons I chose these lag bolts is because they are rust resistant at a great price compared to my local hardware store. 5 stars.

Good, solid, heavy-duty lag screws. These screws are well made, straight, and drive well. The heads are well made, with sharp, true edges, and fit standard hex drivers. They drive well with impact wrenches and heavy-duty electric screwdrivers. They can also be driven by hand, which requires a bit of effort. These are a better price than at home supply stores and are the same to better quality. I will definitely get these again and buy other products from Aoesin.

Stainless lag screws will last almost forever.I opened the box and these stainless lag screws are exactly what we will need when we re-build our deck this spring. TL;DR; Decent lag bolts for non critical purposes. Magnetic so not likely strongly corrosion resistant. Not 304 or 18/8 alloys certainly.For use in a small scale farm operation. These will likely show up in gate hing mounting applications.Lag bolt is 3” long, ½” thick. It’s a solid bolt, good threads. It has a ¾” shoulder. You need a 19mm wrench for it. Strongly magnetic so not likely terrific stainless corrosion resistance.There are high strength stainless steels that are magnetic but neither 304 nor 18/8 are those alloys so this is something else.3.5 stars – they are fine but not accurate listing and for critical use I’d recommend against these. For our farm use they should be fine. TBD on corrosion we need some field test time. Check around for value.

Went in straight without problems. Would order them again if I needed more. Same as Lowes but a third of the cost! Can’t beat that Great savings over big box screw. Haven't broken any with my impact wrench install. I buy all my hardware on Amazon now. Excellent quality, and much better price than warehouse stores.
