This is a great coat. Their is so much adjustments you can easily make to give you a custom fit. My mini donkey is short, long and round so when I got this coat and was able to adjust it to fit her perfect. We were both happy

The donkeys can lie down and get back up without disturbing the fit. And the blankets keep the donkeys from shivering. Very pleased with the purchase.

I love this product so much for my standard donkey that I bought one for the mini. They are durable, fit well and keep them toasty warm. Well worth the money. I love the additional belly band to keep them dry when it rains a lot. Love these blankets!

We have a 30 year old mini black razor back donkey that was losing weight in the 28 degree nights. Having bought 40+ blankets over last 20 years for our 3 horses I can say that this is a real quality blanket. Great front double buckle closures and a very nice belly band mid wrap. Donkey was warm in the snow last weekend and looking at the stitching and fabric seems like will last years.

This blanket fits perfectly! Our miniature donkey, Peanut, is a little longer down the back, and this blanket allows for multiple areas to be adjusted, providing a nice fit that won't slide up.The buckles are solid, and the stitching is taut.

Two of the buckles that strap around the belly broke on the second day. Our pony is old and small. She wasn’t being rambunctious. I will have to get some other hooks to make it work again.

Bought it because my mini outgrew his big D, tore up the spare wool blanket, and kept taking off the spare with Velcro. I am extremely thankful for the use of a bellyband with buckles, thank you!Downside is, mini's don't need gussets with anything longer than 24" really. It can pose I safety issue if they lay down and step on the blanket getting back up. Additionally the neckline is a bit long without enough adjustment to make it small enough so it doesn't sag in the front.All in all though, my 25 yr old 50" mini has a blanket on for the winter he hasn't been able to peel off yet because of the bellyband and buckles. Thank you!
